oh my gosh, you guys, i just heard about this amazing new mod called entropy: zero 2 - progenitors, and i am totally stoked. it's part of the entropy: zero series, which is all about exploring the other side of the half-life universe - you know, the bad guys. this one's a prequel, and it's all about playing as a combine assassin, sneaking around and taking out the human resistance.

i love that it's a stealth game, because let's be real, those are always so much fun. and the fact that you get to play as a combine assassin is just cool - it's like a darker, edgier version of the usual half-life experience. the storyline's pretty interesting too - apparently, you're trying to take out some rogue progenitor that the combine's soldiers were cloned from. it's all pretty mysterious and intriguing.

the visuals look amazing, with a really cool blend of different half-life eras. i'm especially loving the evil combine united nations logo - it's so ominous and creepy. and the gameplay mechanics sound really ambitious, with a mix of stealth, shooting, and immersive sim elements. i've seen some clips of the game, and it looks like you'll be able to do all sorts of cool things, like pickpocketing enemies and using distractions to sneak past them.
