so i just heard about this new game called the lift, and i am totally stoked - it's like a mix of a handyman simulator and a supernatural mystery, which sounds like the perfect combo to me. the game is set in this abandoned research facility that's full of secrets and weird stuff, and you get to play as a "keeper" who's trying to fix the place up and figure out what happened.

i love the idea of blending different genres together, and the lift seems like it's going to be a really unique experience. the developers, fantastic signals, are talking about how they're inspired by games like house flipper and prey, which is pretty cool. they've also worked on some other games that i've heard of, like pathologic 2 and ori and the will of the wisps, so i'm hoping they'll bring some of that same magic to the lift.

so, in the game, you're trying to get this research facility back online by fixing up all these different areas - there's the post office, the communication center, the archive, and a bunch of other places. you'll have to do all sorts of tasks, from fixing furniture to rewiring electromechanical grids, and you'll even get
