so i just got back from summer game fest and i am still reeling from all the awesome games i got to play. one of the things that really caught my eye was aliens: fireteam elite 2 - the sequel to the co-op shooter that basically lets you live out your alien-hunting dreams. it's set five years after the first game and promises to deliver even more intense action and terrifying enemies.



i got to play a mission from the middle of the campaign, and let me tell you - it was insane. the graphics were gorgeous, the sound design was spot on, and the gameplay was so much fun. you get to play with a team of four this time around, which is a big improvement over the first game. and with new enemies like acid-spewing xenomorphs and armored robots, you'll need all the help you can get. the developers have also added some new ammo types and character classes, which adds a whole new layer of strategy to the game.



another game that i was really excited to see was crazy taxi world tour. i mean, who doesn't love the original crazy taxi games? this new one looks like it's going to be just as much fun, with a big focus on story mode and some awesome new driving abilities. the game takes you on a world tour, with five locations in five different countries, and the story mode looks like it's going to be really engaging. plus, the developers are bringing back some of the classic bands from the original games, which is a great nod to fans of the series.
