so i just saw the latest share of the week post from playstation and i'm totally loving the portraits theme. basically, they asked players to share their favorite character portraits from any game using a specific hashtag, and the results are pretty amazing. i mean, who doesn't love a good close-up of their favorite characters, right?



the highlights from this week are so cool, with players sharing portraits from games like horizon zero dawn, cyberpunk 2077, and god of war ragnarök. one of my faves is this beautiful black and white portrait of alicia from clair obscur: expedition 33 - it's so moody and atmospheric, just like the game itself. and of course, there are some awesome portraits from other games like red dead redemption 2 and 007 first light, which just goes to show how versatile this theme is.



what i love about these share of the week posts is that they're not just limited to one specific game or genre. players can share from any game they want, as long as it fits the theme, which means we get to see all sorts of different artwork and styles. and if you're feeling inspired, you can even submit your own portraits for a chance to be featured next week. the new theme is all about sharing moments in the sun, so grab your controller and get snapping - you've got until july 15 to submit your entries.
