so, june's playstation store downloads are out, and i'm kinda intrigued by what people are playing these days. it seems like a lot of gamers are into this whole "liminal spaces" vibe, you know, those super creepy and empty areas that are just begging to be explored.

i've been hearing a lot about escape the backrooms, and it looks like it's been topping the charts in both the us and eu for ps5 and ps4 games. i mean, i can see why - there's something about being trapped in a never-ending loop of empty rooms that's just so... mesmerizing. and it's not just escape the backrooms, either - other backroom-themed games are also popping up in the ps vr2 rankings, which is pretty cool if you're into that sort of thing.

i'm a bit surprised that these types of games are so popular, but at the same time, it makes sense. i mean, who doesn't love a good mystery or a chance to explore some creepy, abandoned space? and with the ps vr2, you can really immerse yourself in the experience, which is pretty awesome. preorders are available at major retailers, by the way, if you're interested in checking out some of these games for yourself.
what's also cool is that the playstation store is giving us a glimpse into what people are actually playing, and it's not just the usual suspects. i mean, sure, there are some big-name games on the list, but there are also some more indie titles that are getting some love, which is great to see. it's always nice to discover new games and developers, and the playstation store is doing a good job of showcasing that.
anyway, if you're looking for someRead more: Full article on blog.playstation.com
