omg, you guys, the new ps plus free games for july are out and they're actually really cool. we're getting call of duty: modern warfare iii, for the king ii, and crosscode, all available from july 7th. i'm super stoked about this lineup, especially since it's such a great mix of different genres and gameplay styles.

so, let's start with call of duty: modern warfare iii. i know some people might be a bit meh about cod, but this one looks like it's going to be pretty epic. the campaign is a direct sequel to the last one, and we're getting all these classic multiplayer maps back with fancy new graphics and stuff. plus, there's this whole zombies mode that sounds like so much fun - it's like, a huge open world where you can team up with other players to survive.

for the king ii is also looking really good, especially if you're into fantasy rpgs like me. the story is all about this evil queen who's taken over the land and it's up to you to gather a party and take her down. you can play with up to four players, which is always a blast, or just go solo if you prefer. i love that it's got this roguelite vibe going on, with all the procedurally generated maps and whatnot.

crosscode is the one that's really caught my eye, though. it's this retro-style 2d action rpg with the most gorgeous pixel art graphics and this crazy-fast combat system. it's all about exploring these massive dungeons, solving puzzles, and fighting monsters - pretty much my perfect game, lol. the fact that it's got this sci-fi storyline is just the icing on the cake. preRead more: Full article on blog.playstation.com
