so it's that time of the month again - time to vote for our favorite new game. june 2026 was pretty epic, with some amazing releases that had me glued to my screen. we got some intense fighting action, sports games that had my heart racing, and adventures that transported me to another world.



i'm personally torn between a few games, but some of the biggest releases last month included the adventures of elliot: the millennium tales, dead or alive 6 last round, and nba the run. which one would i recommend to a friend? that's a tough choice, but i love that it's up to us to decide what makes a game truly special. we get to consider everything from gameplay to story, and even how much fun we had playing it.



so, how does this whole voting thing work? basically, at the end of every month, playstation blog opens up a poll and we get to cast our votes for the best new game. it's not just about the most popular game, but about which one we think is truly worth playing. after the polls close, they'll tally up our votes and announce the winner on their social channels and blog.

one thing to keep in mind is that only brand new games or remakes are eligible for voting. so, if a game was already released and is just getting a re-release, it won't be included in the poll. but if it's a full-on remake, like resident evil 4 or final fantasy vii remake, then it's fair game. the playstation blog team will choose the nominees, but ultimately, it's up to us to decide which game reigns supreme.
