i'm super stoked to share that the open beta for nba the run is happening this weekend on ps5. i mean, who doesn't love a good basketball game, right? this one's especially interesting because it's not just about playing with your favorite nba stars - there are also these fictional characters called street legends who are basically larger-than-life players with insane skills.

from what i've gathered, these street legends have three elite skills each, but they also have some major weaknesses. it's all about risk and reward, you know? like, you might be at a disadvantage in some games, but in others, you'll be totally dominating the court. and the best part is, each of these legends has their own unique story and style. for example, there's spin cycle, who's all about turnovers and disrupting plays, and then there's shen tong, who's this 14-year-old chinese streetball phenom with crazy hops and passing skills.

i love how the developers have put so much thought into creating these characters. like, spin cycle's home court is even designed to reflect his name, which is such a cool touch. and shen tong - you can unlock him if you reach level 5 in the beta, which is a great incentive to keep playing. another legend, destiny jackson, is basically a walking bucket with elite midrange and deep ball skills. she's available to play in the beta, so i'm definitely looking forward to trying her out.

the beta is only on ps5, but preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're interested in checking it out, you can get ready for the full game launch on june 9. i'm really curious to see how the gameplay feels - the devs are sayingRead more: Full article on blog.playstation.com
