so, here's how it works - starting today, fans can apply for the playerbase, and the first game they're doing this with is gran turismo 7. they'll be selecting a limited number of finalists, and then one super lucky fan will get to have their likeness scanned and appear in the game as a character portrait. it's not just a one-time thing, either - the selected fan will also get to help design a custom fantasy logo and a one-of-a-kind vehicle livery that will be added to the game permanently.
