so, you guys, there's this super exciting update coming to genshin impact on may 20, and it's called version "luna vii" - truth amongst the pages of purana. i'm seriously hyped because we're getting two new 5-star characters: nicole reeyn, the first playable hexenzirkel member, and lohen, the vice captain of the knights of favonius. and, as if that's not enough, there's also a new 4-star character named prune who's all about supporting hexerei characters.



i have to say, nicole reeyn sounds like an amazing addition to the game. she's a pyro catalyst wielder who can enhance her allies' attack power while shielding them in battle. her elemental skill creates a shield that absorbs damage and deals area of effect pyro damage, which is just so cool. and, if you have a hexerei character in your party, the effect is even stronger. i love how her abilities are all about supporting her teammates and making them stronger.



lohen, on the other hand, is a cryo polearm wielder who's all about dealing massive damage with his unique combat style. he's got this whole "joy" and "will to win" system that lets him generate resources and unleash devastating attacks. i'm really curious to see how he plays in combat, and i love that we'll get to learn more about his story and the knights of favonius' past through his story quest.



prune, the new 4-star character, seems like a great support character who can provide sustained off-field damage and boost her teammates' overall damage output. i'm looking forward to trying her out and seeing how she fits into my party. and,
