oh my gosh, you guys - days of play is back for 2026 and it's starting on may 27th. i'm super stoked because this event is basically a huge celebration of all things playstation, with tons of cool stuff like discounts on games and accessories, new content for playstation plus, and even special tournaments. it's the perfect time to grab that game you've been wanting to play for ages or discover something new and amazing.



i've been checking out the lineup for days of play, and let me tell you - it's looking pretty sweet. playstation plus members are getting some awesome perks, like new monthly games and a bonus game catalog entry. for example, if you're a fan of destiny 2, you'll be able to get your hands on the legacy collection, including the final shape expansion, starting on june 9th. and if you're a deluxe member, you'll even get access to game trials for over 40 indie games - yes, you read that right, 40.



one of the things i'm most excited about is the special tournaments they're hosting during days of play. you'll be able to compete in games like madden nfl 26, tekken 8, and even fortnite, with some pretty cool prizes up for grabs. for instance, if you participate in the fortnite days of play cup, you'll be competing for a piece of a $200,000 cash prize pool. and, if you take part in at least one match during the event, you'll even get a unique days of play ps avatar - which is just a nice little bonus, if you ask me.
