omg, you guys, i just heard about the most intense upcoming game - clive barker's hellraiser: revival. it's set to drop on october 8 for the playstation 5, and i am beyond excited. the developers at saber interactive have been working on this project for over four years, and it's clear they're trying to bring a whole new level of horror to the table.



so, for those who might not know, hellraiser is all about exploring the extremes of human experience - and i mean, extremes. the cenobites, led by the iconic pinhead, are all about pushing boundaries and testing the limits of pain and pleasure. they're not your typical villains, and that's what makes them so fascinating. in this game, you'll be playing as aidan lynch, whose girlfriend sunny gets torn in half by the cenobites after messing with the mysterious genesis configuration puzzle box.



apparently, aidan's goal is to save sunny's soul, and the cenobites are somehow involved in all this. but he's not the only one after the genesis configuration - there's this creepy cult called the scarlet church, led by some charismatic figure named marlowe, who wants to use the puzzle box to create some kind of twisted paradise. and then there are these other creatures, called the unworthy, who are basically hell's rejects and are also after the configuration. it's all pretty dark and twisted, and i am so here for it.
