omg, you guys, have you heard about crimson moon? it's this super dark and gorgeous action rpg that's all about fighting demons in a gothic city. i mean, what's not to love? the game is set to drop on september 1 for the playstation 5, and i am beyond hyped.



one of the things that really caught my attention is the co-op mode. you can play with a friend online, and it's not just a matter of having someone else to deal damage - the game actually scales the difficulty based on whether you're playing solo or with a friend. and, if your partner dies, you can revive them, but each death brings you closer to failing the hunt. i love the sound of that, it adds this whole extra layer of strategy and teamwork to the game.



i'm also really impressed that the game is priced so reasonably - the standard edition is $19.99, and the deluxe edition is $29.99. the deluxe edition comes with some pretty cool extras, like a special armor set and a guitar-shaped axe (um, yes please). and, if you buy the standard edition and decide you want to upgrade later, you can do that for $10. preorders are available at major retailers, so you can get ready to join the hunt as soon as it launches.

the graphics look amazing, by the way. the playstation 5 pro version will have native support for upgraded pssr, which means the game will look super sharp and detailed. and, as a little bonus, playstation players will get an exclusive armor set at launch. i'm really looking forward to exploring the city of gildenarch and battling all the demons that lurk within. who's with me?
