omg, you guys, i just heard the most epic news - control resonant is finally coming to ps5 on september 24. i've been waiting for this game for what feels like forever, and now we have a brand new story trailer to obsess over. it's giving me all the spooky vibes, with manhattan being warped by these paranormal forces that are literally changing the rules of reality.



i love how the gameplay seems to be centered around dylan faden, the "bad guy" from the first game. it's so cool that we get to see things from his perspective this time, and i'm low-key excited to learn more about his backstory. apparently, he's been through some major trauma, being taken by the federal bureau of control as a kid and then getting possessed by this paranormal force called the hiss. no wonder he's all messed up, right?



the trailer shows dylan navigating this crazy, shifting world, with buildings that defy physics and monsters lurking around every corner. he's got some sweet abilities, including this shapeshifting weapon called the aberrant, which looks like it's going to be so much fun to play with. and even though jesse, the main character from the first game, is missing, we know she's still going to be a big part of the story. i'm curious to see how their sibling dynamic plays out, especially since dylan is trying to find his way and figure out who he is now.
