omg, you guys, the new season of call of duty is almost here and it's packed with so much cool stuff. season 5 is launching on july 23 and it's going to bring a ton of new maps, modes, and features to both black ops 7 and warzone. i'm super hyped to try out the new assignment: burn run mode, where you have to navigate a bomb-rigged vehicle and blast through checkpoints to earn bonuses.

i'm also really excited to check out the new maps, like jubilee, which takes place in a rural japanese town during a festival, and frequency, which is a remastered map set in the mountains of hunan. and, of course, who can resist a good game of turbo tilt, which is a new multiplayer map inspired by the classic nuketown. it's like they're shrinking us down to size and putting us in a giant pinball machine - so cool.

one of the things i love about call of duty is the variety of game modes, and season 5 is no exception. we're getting new limited time modes like overdrive domination and gauntlet rush, which sound like a blast. and, for all you ranked play fans out there, get ready to climb the ranks and earn new seasonal rewards. i'm a bit more of a casual player myself, but i love watching the pros compete and trying to learn from them.

warzone is also getting some love in season 5, with a new poi (point of interest) arriving east of tv station and south of quarry, which is rumored to have some sweet loot and an armed jlrv on site. and, if you're into zombies, there are some new rogue run playlists and a round-based map coming mid-seasonRead more: Full article on blog.playstation.com
