omg, have you guys heard about ace combat 8: wings of theve? it's the latest installment in the ace combat series and i am beyond hyped. the devs, project aces, just dropped a behind-the-scenes video that gives us a sneak peek into the game's development and it's seriously impressive.

so, from what i've gathered, the game takes place in the world of strangereal, where you play as the leader of a squad based on an aircraft carrier called endurance. the story sounds super emotional and intense, with a focus on winning the trust of your teammates and navigating the struggles of war. i love that the game is taking a more personal approach to storytelling, it's going to make the experience so much more immersive.

speaking of immersion, the devs have introduced a new first-person perspective during story scenes, which is a huge departure from the usual third-person view. apparently, this new perspective, combined with the insane graphics and photorealistic rendering, is going to make the game feel like you're actually flying. and can we talk about the clouds? they've developed this crazy advanced "lumen" lightning system that makes the clouds look seriously realistic.
the game is also going to feature a range of fan-favorite aircraft, all of which have been meticulously crafted by the art team using decades of experience and expertise. and, of course, the gameplay is going to be just as intense, with pulse-pounding dogfights that are designed to be accessible to both new and veteran players. the devs are really passionate about making the game enjoyable for everyone, and it shows.

ace combat 8: wings of theve is set to release on playstation 5 this year, and i am so down to get my hands on it. pre
