omg, you guys, the wait is finally over - we've got a release date for zero parades: for dead spies, the super hyped espionage rpg from some of the geniuses behind disco elysium. it's coming out on may 21st for pc, and i am beyond excited. i mean, who wouldn't want to dive into a "grand spy rpg" with a protagonist who's basically a hot mess - brilliant, burnt out, and possibly cursed?

so, the game follows hershel wilk, aka cascade, as he tries to redeem himself after a pretty disastrous mission. i love that we get to explore his operant skills and deal with all the dramatic encounters and inner voices that might not be entirely trustworthy. it sounds like such a deep, complex gameplay experience, and i'm all about it. plus, the fact that it's going to be steam deck verified on release means we can take our spy adventures on the go - yes, please.

one thing that really stands out to me is the language support - it's launching with english, german, russian, simplified chinese, and spanish (latin america), which is amazing. and the best part is that the devs are committed to adding more languages soon, so everyone can play it in their own language. i mean, it's about time, right? the fact that disco elysium took ages to get fully localized is a bit of a sore spot, but it seems like the devs have learned from their mistakes.

i'm also super curious about all the other projects that are spinning out of the disco elysium universe - there are like, four or five different studios working on their own games, and they all look incredible. i'm talking red info, longdue, darkRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
