so i've been playing this game called mobile suit gundam battle operation 2, and let me tell you, it's not exactly the most popular thing out there. like, it's got a pretty bad rep, and for good reason - the pc port is kinda shoddy, the monetization schemes are pretty sketchy, and the gameplay can be super overwhelming if you're not used to it.

but despite all that, i'm actually really enjoying it. i mean, it's not like it's the best game i've ever played or anything, but it scratches this weird gundam itch that i have. and i think that's what's interesting - people are always talking about how some games are "good" or "bad", but really, it's all just about what you're looking for. like, if you're a huge gundam fan like me, you might be able to overlook some of the game's flaws and just have fun with it.

one of the weird things about gbo 2 is that it's got this super dedicated player base, but it's all kinda clustered in the higher ranks. so if you're a lowly newbie like me, it can take forever to find a match - we're talking 10 minutes or more just waiting for someone to join. and if someone disconnects, the whole game just ends, which is super frustrating. but hey, at least the game has a pretty active community, right?
