okay, so you guys know how microsoft has been trying to push their xbox game pass subscription service, right? well, it looks like things aren't going as smoothly as they'd hoped. apparently, the total number of subscribers has dropped back down to 30 million - which is a pretty significant loss of around 4 million compared to last year's numbers.

so, in an attempt to fix things, microsoft recently cut the price of game pass and changed up their whole call of duty deal. now, new call of duty games won't be available on the service until a year after they're released. i'm not sure if this will be enough to win back all the lost subscribers, but i guess it's a step in the right direction. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking it out for yourself.

i've seen some people criticizing game pass, saying it's not a great value or that it's "value destructive" - which is a pretty harsh term, if you ask me. but at the same time, i can see why some people might think that. i mean, playstation's own subscription service, ps plus, has a pretty different approach, focusing more on back catalogue and classic titles rather than brand new releases. it's definitely interesting to see how these different servicesRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
