omg, you guys, i just found out about this crazy treasure hunt in black flag resynced and i am so down to share the deets with you all. so, apparently, there's this new quest that gets unlocked after you complete the "do not go gently" main quest, and it's all about finding blackbeard's treasure. like, the actual treasure map is hidden in blackbeard's hat, which is just so cool.



anyway, the map doesn't give you any coordinates, which makes things way harder, but also super exciting. you have to use your knowledge of the caribbean to figure out where the treasure is, and let me tell you, it's not easy. the location is actually anotto bay, which is north of kingston on the north coast of the island, in the charlotte region. when you get there, be prepared for a fight, because there are pirate ships everywhere, and you'll have to sink them before you can even think about landing.



once you've cleared the area, you can start looking for the treasure. you'll have to hop across boats and dive down to find a sunken mineshaft, which is just, like, whoa. then you'll have to navigate these crazy tunnels, avoiding sharks and sea anemones, until you reach an area with wooden platforms and gunpowder barrels. this is where things get really interesting, because you'll have to use the barrels to blow up rubble and make your way deeper into the cave.
