so i just heard that the ceo of take-two, strauss zelnick, thinks we'll all be streaming our games in like three years or something. he's talking about how with the tech getting better, we'll be able to play games on basically any device, and that's kinda crazy to think about. i mean, no more needing a fancy console or gaming pc to play the latest titles.



i'm not sure how i feel about this, to be honest. on the one hand, it sounds super convenient to just be able to pick up and play games on whatever device you've got lying around. but on the other hand, i love my retro arcade games and the feeling of holding a physical copy of a game in my hands. it's just a different experience, you know? and what about all the people who don't have great internet or can't afford a super fancy streaming setup?



apparently zelnick thinks that streaming is going to open up the gaming market to a whole new audience, and that it'll be like a "plug and play" system where anyone can just jump in and start playing. he's also talking about how this could mean a huge increase in the number of people playing games, which could be awesome for the industry. but it's also got me wondering about what this means for upcoming games like gta 6 - will we see it on some kind of streaming platform before it even comes out on pc?
