so i just heard about this crazy story surrounding the game mindseye and its super rocky launch last year. apparently, the ceo of the studio behind it, build a rocket boy, is saying that they had the worst launch in history - and i'm talking glitches, layoffs, and all sorts of drama. it's pretty wild, and i'm not surprised that people were pretty disappointed with the game when it first came out.



from what i've gathered, the studio is now trying to move on from all the negativity and is planning to relaunch the game, which is supposed to be getting a new multiplayer update with a bunch of fresh content. the ceo, mark gerhard, is saying that they've got evidence of sabotage, which they're going to share with the community in this upcoming update. i'm not really sure what to make of all this - part of me is curious to see what's going on, but another part of me is skeptical about the whole sabotage thing.



one thing that's for sure is that the game has had a pretty rough time, and the studio has been working hard to improve it. gerhard is saying that the game is now being well-reviewed and that sales are increasing, which is a good sign. but at the same time, he's also being pretty vocal about how some people were trying to deliberately trash the game, which is a pretty big claim. i'm not sure if i totally buy it, but it's definitely an interesting twist in the story.
