so, have you guys heard about thick as thieves, the new stealth game from otherside entertainment? it's set in this really cool alternate 1900s world and it's all about sneaking around and getting stuff done without being seen. what's really interesting is that the game is launching as a pretty short "introductory campaign" - we're talking four hours of gameplay, 16 missions, and only two maps.

i'm actually really curious to see how this works out, because on the one hand, it's great that the devs are trying something different and not just dumping a ton of content on us all at once. but on the other hand, four hours is pretty short, you know? especially for a stealth game, where part of the fun is often in the strategy and planning. still, the price is pretty hard to argue with - it's only $4.99, which is basically the cost of a coffee.

one thing that's got me a bit worried is that this game has had a bit of a rocky development history. it used to be a pvpve game, where you'd be competing against other players to pull off heists, but now it's more of a traditional single-player and co-op experience. i can see why they made the change, though - sometimes less is more, and it's better to focus on making a smaller, more polished game than to try to do too much and end up with something that's just meh.

the game is going to be available on ps5, xbox series x/s, and pc, which is great - i love that we've got so many options for where we can play our games these days. and preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking it out.Read more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
