omg, have you guys seen the new trailer for virtua fighter crossroads? it's got everyone talking about this super mysterious character, bakunawa killer. they just dropped a trailer at evo 2026, which is like, the biggest fighting game tournament ever, and it's got me so hyped. the trailer is pretty short, but it shows off some story bits and a few moves from this new fighter.



i love how the trailer leaves us with more questions than answers, though. like, who is this bakunawa killer person? pai chan, one of the other characters, gets their mask off and freaks out, but we don't get to see who it is. it's so frustrating, but in a good way, you know? now everyone's speculating about who it could be, and i am here. for. it.



some people think it might be lau chan, which would be kinda crazy. i mean, pai chan's dad would definitely cause a reaction like that, but it doesn't really add up. lau chan's supposed to be pretty old by now, and this new fighter looks super agile and young. plus, wasn't lau chan dealing with some serious health issues in the last games? unless something major happened, i don't know if it's really him.



there are other theories, too, like maybe it's lei-fei, this shaolin monk character who's been trying to learn from lau chan. that could be pretty cool, actually, since lei-fei's got a pretty complex history with lau chan. or, you know, it could be literally anyone else - a long-lost sibling, a time-traveling lau chan, who knows? the possibilities are endless, andRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
