so, you guys, the new steam controller is finally dropping on may 4, and i am beyond hyped. i've been waiting for what feels like forever to get my hands on this thing, and i'm excited to see if it lives up to the hype. the controller itself looks pretty sleek, with two big trackpads and a bunch of customizable buttons - it's definitely a unique design.

one thing that's got me a little bummed is the price tag. it's $99 in the us, which is a bit steeper than i was hoping for. but, i guess when you consider all the tech that's packed into this thing, it's not totally unreasonable. plus, valve says the price difference between regions is due to stuff like distribution costs and import duties, so i guess that's just the way it goes. still, i'm a little worried it might be out of my budget.

despite the price, i'm really excited to try out the steam controller's features. the trackpads are supposed to be super responsive, and the gyro controls sound like a total game-changer. and, with a 35-hour battery life, i won't have to worry about it dying on me in the middle of a gaming session. i've heard it's not the best for competitive gaming, but for casual players like me, it sounds perfect.

i've also heard that the controller is really comfy to hold and use, which is a total plus in my book. i mean, who doesn't love gaming from the couch or in bed? and, with all the customizable buttons, i can set it up to play my favorite games just the way i like. preorders are available at major retailers, so i'm definitely going to be keeping an eyeRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
