omg, you guys, have you heard about what's going on with bethesda and their fallout announcements? so basically, on the same day they dropped all this exciting news about new fallouts and remasters, they were laying off a bunch of developers in canada. like, what even is that? it's already pretty sketchy that they're laying off people, but to do it on the same day they're hyping up all these new games just seems really insensitive.

so apparently, these canadian developers were told just a week or two before that they'd have jobs until september, and they'd get to negotiate their severance packages with the union. but then, out of nowhere, they get emails saying they're being let go effective immediately, with basically the minimum amount of severance pay they're required to give by law. it's just really harsh, you know? and it's not like they're even trying to hide it - they're just doing it while everyone's distracted by all the shiny new game announcements.

preorders are available at major retailers, but honestly, i'm not even sure if i want to support bethesda right now. i love their games, but it's hardRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
