so, you guys heard about the new assassin's creed black flag resynced game? it's been out for like, two weeks now, and apparently, it's selling crazy well - we're talking over 2 million copies on the first day, which is just wild. i mean, i loved the original black flag, it was so much fun running around in the caribbean, discovering new islands and fighting off british ships.

but anyway, the ceo of ubisoft, yves guillemot, just said that the game has already exceeded their expectations for the whole year, which is pretty impressive. he also thanked the teams that worked on the game, which is cool, i guess. although, it's kind of awkward because just a few weeks ago, ubisoft laid off a bunch of people from their barcelona studio, including some who worked on black flag resynced. like, nearly a third of the whole studio got let go, which is just devastating.

i haven't had a chance to play the new game myself, but from what i've heard, it's a bit of a mixed bag. some people love it, while others are disappointed by the changes they made to the original game. apparently, the sword fights are simpler now, and there's day one dlc, which is always a bit of a turnoff. but at the same time, the game is still getting great reviews, and a lot of people are enjoying it. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested in checking it out.
