so i just learned that the lead voice actor in crimson desert was pretty confused by the game's story, and honestly, same. i mean, i've played it and there are definitely some weird plot twists that feel kinda disjointed. it's cool to know that even the people working on the game were like, "wait, what's going on?"



apparently, the game is getting some updates soon, which i'm super stoked about. we can expect to see boss rematches, new difficulty settings, and some extra skills to play around with. this sounds like it'll make the game way more fun and challenging, especially for players who've already beaten it. i'm definitely looking forward to trying out the new difficulty settings - i love a good challenge.



i also stumbled upon this really cool mod that lets you create your own female character, which is awesome because, let's be real, the default character can be a bit... generic. it's like, finally, we can play as someone who doesn't look like a certain famous actor. preorders are available at major retailers, by the way, in case you haven't picked up the game yet.

it's also pretty interesting to note that avalanche studios, the devs behind just cause, were working on a game similar to crimson desert, but got shut down by publishers. it makes you wonder what could've been, right? maybe someday we'll see a revival of that project.
