omg, you guys, so there's been a pretty big update for tomb raider 1-3 remastered and i am here for it. basically, the devs, aspyr, just dropped a patch that fixes those super questionable outfit textures that came with the new challenge mode update last month. i mean, i know some of you were calling it "slop raider" and i kinda get why - those original textures were pretty rough.



so, what happened was that aspyr released this free challenge mode update with some new outfits for lara, and everyone was all excited, but then they saw the textures and were like, wait, what's going on here? it was pretty clear that something had gone wrong, and aspyr quickly came out and said they hadn't used ai to make the update, like some people were guessing. they promised to fix it, and now they've followed through, which is awesome.



i've seen some posts from people who've checked out the new patch, and they're all super happy with how it looks now. like, one person said the difference is "crazy" and that the new textures are so much more detailed. i'm pretty stoked to check it out myself, since i love playing these old tomb raider games. it's also worth noting that the patch is available on pretty much all the platforms you can play tomb raider 1-3 remastered on, including playstation, xbox, nintendo switch, pc, and android.
