so i just found out about this new star wars game called star wars: zero company, and i'm kinda stoked about it. it's like an xcom-style tactics rpg, which is totally my vibe, and you get to play as this character called hawks who uses they/them pronouns. i think that's really cool, because it's not every day you see non-binary characters in big games like this.

i was reading about how the game lets you customize your character, and it sounds like you can really make them your own. you can choose from different species, like mirialans or devaronians, and even give them crazy hair colors and stuff. i love that kind of thing, because it lets me express myself and make my character feel more unique. the game's devs, bit reactor, seem to be all about letting players express themselves, which is awesome.

but what's also interesting is that bit reactor is published by electronic arts, which is now owned by this consortium that includes saudi arabia's public investment fund. that's kinda worrying, because saudi arabia has a pretty terrible track record when it comes to human rights. i don't know how i feel about supporting a game that's tied to a country with such a bad reputation. the ceo of bit reactor, greg foertsch, seems like a cool guy, though - he's all about letting players tell their own story and be whoever they want to be.

i guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out. the game itself sounds like it could be really fun, and i love the idea of playing as a character who's not just a typical male or female hero. it's coming out on pc, and preorders are availableRead more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
