omg, you guys, it's been a wild week for pc games already. i'm talking new releases, early access, the whole nine yards. so, let's dive right in and see what's been cooking.

first off, we've got subnautica 2 hitting early access on pc and xbox series x/s. i'm super stoked about this one, as i've heard amazing things about the original. the guides team over at rock paper shotgun is basically obsessed with it, and i can see why - who wouldn't want to explore an alien ocean and uncover all its secrets? i'm planning on checking it out as soon as i can, and i'd love to hear your thoughts if you've already given it a try.

another game that's caught my eye is the dark pictures anthology: directive 8020, which is coming to pc, ps5, and xbox series x/s. i don't know much about this one yet, but the title alone has me intrigued. i love a good mystery, and the fact that it's part of an anthology series makes me think it'll be a pretty unique experience. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as curious as i am, you can go ahead and reserve your copy now.

i have to say, though, the thing that's really got me giggling is the drama going on over at rock paper shotgun. apparently, their news editor is slacking off (again), and the rest of the team is having a field day teasing him about it. i mean, who wouldn't want to read about someone getting chased around with an electrified cattle prod? it's definitely made my day a little brighter, that's for sure.
