omg, you guys, i just found out about the tiniest game ever - tinysol. it's a solitaire game that's so small, it can literally fit inside a qr code. like, what even is that? it's crazy to think about how huge games are getting these days, and then you have this tiny little thing that's just so... compact.



apparently, tinysol was made by some vintage computer enthusiasts called classic bits, and it's been in development since 2021. the game itself is super simple - it's just a black and white version of three-card klondike solitaire. but the really cool thing about it is that it only takes up 3 kilobytes of space. that's insane, right? the developers said they wanted to make a game that could fit on old computers, and they definitely succeeded.



i love that the game has a bit of a retro vibe to it, too. the graphics are super basic, but in a charming way. and the fact that it comes with a dot matrix-style manual is just too cool. the developers even said that they made the game intentionally monochrome so it would look good on old displays. it's clear they put a lot of thought into this little game, even if it is just a simple solitaire game.
