ok, so you guys know how much i love slay the spire, right? well, there's some pretty cool news about the sequel - slay the spire 2. apparently, there's this new pvp mod that lets you battle your friends mid-run, which sounds like an absolute blast. i mean, who doesn't love a good competition to see who's built the better deck?



i'm really intrigued by this mod, and i think it's going to add a whole new level of excitement to the game. i've always loved the roguelike deckbuilder aspect of slay the spire, and this pvp element just takes it to a whole new level. plus, it's not like it's just a simple "who can kill the other person first" kind of thing - it's more about who's made the better deck, which is a really cool twist.



the update that brought this mod also fixed some pretty major multiplayer bugs, which is great news for anyone who's been playing co-op. apparently, there was this one relic that gave infinite block, which sounds kind of OP if you ask me. but yeah, it's all fixed now, so you can play with your friends without any of those annoying bugs getting in the way.

i'm also loving the fact that the devs are still working on the game, even after it's been released in early access. they're really dedicated to making sure everything is perfect, which is really admirable. and let's be real, the fact that they're not relying on ai-generated art is a huge plus in my book. i mean, there's just something about handmade art that makes a game feel so much more special.
