okay, so you guys know i'm a huge fan of marathon, and i've been playing it nonstop since it came out. recently, there's been some buzz about the game's player numbers dipping, and people are getting worried that it's going to shut down or something. but, apparently, the devs are all like "nope, we're good" - they've got a huge budget of $200m, and they're committed to making the game work.



i've been noticing that the player base has been getting a bit smaller, but at the same time, the community is still super active and passionate. and, let's be real, the devs are actually doing a pretty great job of keeping us engaged - they're always pushing out new updates and patches, and they're really listening to our feedback. for example, they just nerfed one of the strongest gadgets in the game, and they're bringing back some old loot opportunities that we all loved.



one thing that's been driving me crazy, though, is all the cheating that's been going on. i mean, i get it, some people just can't resist the temptation to get ahead by any means necessary. but, come on, it's just not cool. luckily, the devs are on top of it, and they're cracking down hard on cheaters - they've even got a zero-tolerance policy, which is awesome.



i've been hearing rumors that the game's endgame content is getting a bit of a revamp, which is pretty exciting. apparently, we won't have to choose between ranked or cryo archive this weekend, which is a huge relief. and, oh yeah, the devs just ripped out this one super busted movement trick that was getting on everyone's nerves. it'sRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
