omg, you guys, i just found the most random website that's literally dedicated to guessing gaming mouse shapes. like, it's a thing now. the site's called findmymouse and it has this mode called mouseguessr where you're shown the silhouette of a gaming mouse and you have to guess which one it is. sounds easy, right? wrong.

i thought i was pretty familiar with gaming mice, but this site proved me wrong. it's got a huge database of over 100 mice from big brands like razer and logitech, as well as some more obscure ones. the site gives you points for guessing, and you can even earn points for how quickly you answer and how similar the shape is to the actual mouse. it's pretty cool, and it's also kind of helpful if you're in the market for a new mouse - you can compare shapes and sizes and even read reviews from other users.

one of the coolest things about this site is that you can request a mouse to be added to the database, so the game could potentially get even bigger. i'd love to see some more unique mice added, just to make it a bit more challenging. and speaking of challenging, there are even ranked modes - a standard one and a "nightmare" mode that calculates your average score over 15 rounds of guessing. preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure if that's really relevant here since it's just a website.
