so i just heard about this new game called the watcher and i'm kinda intrigued. it's all about surveillance and spying on people in an apartment building, which sounds pretty creepy. as someone who loves retro arcade games and pixel art, this seems like a bit of a departure from my usual genre, but i'm always down to try something new.

i have to say, the concept of the game is really interesting. you get to set up your own surveillance room and use all sorts of gadgets to spy on the people in the building. you can take photos and videos, intercept audio recordings, and even pin up evidence on a board to try to figure out what's going on. it's like being a detective, but instead of solving a crime, you're trying to uncover secrets and figure out what's really going on in the building.

the game is being developed by a small indie studio called yesterday's sandwich, and from what i can tell, they're trying to create a game that's all about tension and intrigue. the screens i've seen are really unsettling, with all the people looking like eyeless mannequins. it's definitely got a creepy vibe, and i can see why people might be drawn to it. the game will be available on pc, and preorders are available at major retailers.

one thing that's got me a bit concerned is the trailer. it shows the protagonist talking and emoting a lot, and to be honest, it comes across as a bit cheesy. i hope the game itself is more subdued and lets the player experience the tension and suspense without too much commentary. i don't need the protagonist telling me how to feel or what to think - i'd rather just be able to immerse myself in the game and figure things out for myself.Read more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
