omg, you guys, the super mario galaxy movie is finally out and it's been making waves, despite what critics are saying. i mean, i was super stoked to see it, and it's got some pretty cool moments, but apparently not everyone agrees. the reviews have been pretty mixed, with some people calling it "flat" and "tortuous" - ouch, that's harsh.

but here's the thing, even with those bad reviews, the movie is still doing amazingly well. it's broken the record for best opening day this year, raking in a whopping $34m on its first day. that's even better than the super mario bros movie, which i loved, btw. i guess that just goes to show that fans are still super into the mario franchise, and we'll watch anything with our favorite characters in it.

i checked out the reviews on metacritic, and yeah, they're not great. the critics' score is pretty low, with some reviewers calling it a "bland, simplistic template" - that's pretty scathing. but, on the other hand, user reviews are way more positive, with an average score of 7.7. it's clear that fans are loving it, and that's all that really matters, right? i mean, who needs critic approval when you've got the fans on your side?

i'm kinda curious to see how this movie will do in the long run, but it's already clear that it's been a commercial success. i wouldn't be surprised if we see another mario movie in a few years, and i'm kinda hoping they'll take some of the criticism on board and make it even better next time. preorders are available at major retailers,Read more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
