omg, you guys, i just found out about this insane indie game called hell clock: cursed war and i am totally obsessed. it's like, the perfect mix of a roguelike and an action rpg, and it's honestly giving me hades and diablo vibes. i know, i know, that's a big claim, but hear me out.

so, hell clock has been out for a bit, but it just got this new expansion called cursed war and it's literally changed the game for me. the devs, rogue snail, are super passionate about action rpgs and it shows - they've created this amazing run-based system that's all about loot and buildcrafting, but without being too overwhelming. i mean, i'm not exactly a pro at this stuff, but i can still have tons of fun without getting lost in the mechanics.

one of the coolest things about hell clock is its story, which is actually based on a real-life event in brazil. it's this super dark, revenge-fueled narrative that's all about the main character, pajeu, taking on the undead soldiers that haunt this tormented town. the cursed war expansion adds a whole new act to the game, which tells the origin story of pajeu and it's just as intense as the rest of the game. i love how the story is all about the consequences of violence and trauma, it's really deep.

the gameplay is also ridiculously addictive - i mean, who doesn't love smashing monsters and collecting loot? the new expansion adds some awesome new skills, like this one called tupã's wrath that's basically a flood of lightning bolts. i've been having so much fun experimenting with different builds and combinations, and there's still so much to discover.Read more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
