omg, you guys - blizzard just dropped some major overwatch news and i am hyped. they're adding a brand new hero, sierra, to the game and she looks like she's going to be a total game-changer. sierra is a damage-role character, which is just what we need to shake things up a bit. she's got a super cool flying arm bot that she uses like a grappling hook, and a plasma-firing rifle that i am totally obsessed with.



so, sierra is the first of five new heroes that are coming to overwatch this year, with one new hero being added in each of the game's new reign of talon seasons. i love that blizzard is committing to regular updates and new content - it's really helping to breathe new life into the game. and, let's be real, the fact that we're getting a new hero every season is just amazing. i'm already counting down the days until season 2 launches on april 14th and we can get our hands on sierra.



i have to say, i'm really loving the look of sierra - she's got this gorgeous pink-tinged hair and a southern american accent that's just so unique. and, can we talk about her abilities for a second? she's got this homing beacon thing that attracts a barrage of plasma missiles and it's just so cool. i'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see her ultimate ability in the trailer, but i'm sure blizzard will spill all the details soon.
