omg, you guys, i just found out about this amazing mod for baldur's gate 3 that gives you a totally new way to play the game. it's called the true third-person camera mod, and it lets you experience the game in a whole new perspective - literally. instead of the usual bird's eye view, you get to play in an over-the-shoulder style, which is so cool.



i know some of you might be thinking, "wait, doesn't baldur's gate 3 already have a third-person mode?" and yes, it does, but this mod is different. for one thing, you can actually look up, which you can't do with the built-in third-person mode. and if you've tried the native camera tweaks mod, you'll know that it's not the same either. this mod lets you switch between views with just a press of a button, which is so convenient.



the creator of the mod, relysia, has been getting a lot of flak from people who don't understand why this mod is special. so, they made this awesome eight-minute video showing off all the features that make it unique. like, did you know that this mod defaults to a slightly off-center view, which gives it a really cool, tomb raider-esque feel? and you can adjust the camera settings on the fly, without having to edit any files or anything. it's so user-friendly.
