omg, you guys, it's time to get excited about the last of us again. neil druckmann, the head of naughty dog, just dropped a major tease about the series' future. he shared some super old sketches of joel and ellie on instagram, and let's just say it's got me hyped. these sketches are from way back in 2003, and it's crazy to think about how far the series has come since then.



so, what's the big deal about these sketches? well, druckmann basically said that there are still a "few stops" left on the series' road ahead. and, honestly, i'm so down for that. i mean, who wouldn't want more of the last of us? it's one of my all-time favorite game series, and i'm not alone. fans have been hoping for a third game since part 2 came out in 2020, and it sounds like naughty dog is definitely considering it.



now, i know some of you might be thinking, "wait, didn't neil druckmann say something about not making another last of us game?" and, yeah, he did say that last year. but, it looks like he might have been playing it cool, because now he's talking about a concept for a third game that he's really excited about. apparently, it's going to be its own thing, but still connected to the first two games. i'm intrigued, to say the least.



it's also worth noting that naughty dog is working on some other projects, like intergalactic: the heretic prophet. i don't know much about it, but it sounds like it's going to be a totally new franchise with a retro futuristic vibe. andRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
