omg, you guys, the devs of menace just dropped some major news - they're revamping the construct faction and getting rid of that annoying promotion tax. i mean, i'm all for a good challenge, but being nickel-and-dimed for promoting my squad leaders was getting old. the game is already super grimy and dark, so it's about time they made some changes to make it more enjoyable.

so, the promotion tax is basically gone, and they're balancing it out by increasing the cost of supplies for your squad. but, to make up for it, they're giving you more base supplies at the start, and reducing the cost of promoting your units based on their star level. it sounds like a pretty fair trade-off to me, and i'm excited to see how it plays out in the game. plus, being able to clear away wrecked vehicles is going to be a total game-changer, especially in those tight urban maps.

the construct faction revamp is what's really got me hyped, though. they're getting a total makeover, with new textures and loot items. and, let's be real, those cybernetic abominations were already creepy, but now they're going to be even more terrifying. the devs want to make them more unique and varied, so they're changing up their abilities and playstyles. for example, construct drones now scream when they die, which will freak out nearby enemies, and construct soldiers are getting heavy repeaters that can take out vehicles.
