The best thing about HeroQuest...

Avalon Hill's deluxe rerelease of the classic dungeon crawl board game HeroQuest is getting a digital edition courtesy of Nomad Games, who previously adapted board games like Talisman, Love Letter, and Fury of Dracula. Expect goblin-bashing, trap-disarming, treasure-hunting, and spell-casting. I'll use my broadsword.

As well as solo play, with the computer taking on the role of the Evil Wizard and his minions, it'll support online multiplayer with up to four players as the heroes, and a fifth optionally taking over as the villainous Zargon. (It's based on the American version, so no Morcar here.)

The most promising detail revealed so far is the inclusion of a quest editor so players can create their own maps and missions, as well as downloading quests made by others through mod.io integration.

Hopefully it includes the rules additions from HeroQuest First Light, especially the option to just move eight squares per turn instead of rolling to move if there aren't any monsters on the board. Slogging across the dungeon to get back to the exit 2d6 squares at a time is a real chore otherwise.
