omg, you guys, it's finally happening - a brand new heroes of might and magic game is coming out this month. i'm beyond excited because it's been over 10 years since the last one, and i've been itching for some more turn-based strategy goodness in my life. the new game, called heroes of might and magic: olden era, is being developed by unfrozen and will be released in early access on pc on april 30th.

so, if you're new to the series (like, wow, you must be pretty young), it's basically a game where you build and manage your own fantasy empire, complete with heroes, monsters, and armies. you'll spend your time gathering resources, building towns, and sending your heroes on quests to conquer the world. it's super addictive and fun, and i'm sure the new game will be just as awesome. the early access launch will include a bunch of different modes, like singleplayer and multiplayer, as well as some new features like procedurally generated maps.
