so, the game is launching on may 21st, which gives us a couple of months to prepare for the inevitable social media frenzy. it's a pc exclusive at launch, which is pretty cool, and it'll have english voice acting, plus text localisation in a bunch of languages, including russian, spanish, and german. oh, and it's steam deck verified, which is a nice bonus for anyone who likes playing on the go.

i've been hearing some mixed thoughts about the game from people who've gone hands-on with it, which has me intrigued. some people are saying it feels like a cynical copycat, trying to recapture the magic of disco elysium, while others think it has the potential to carve out its own unique path. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out. personally, i'm hoping it'll be a great game that can stand on its own, despite all the baggage surrounding the studio.
