omg, have you guys heard about landfall, the devs behind peak and content warning, starting their own publisher called evil landfall? i'm so stoked about this, because it means they'll be supporting their own games and other indie devs, which is totally awesome. apparently, they've had evil landfall around for three years now, but they only recently announced it, and it's because they're expanding to help other indie studios with investments and advice.

i love that they're being super honest about why they started evil landfall - basically, they said it's because paperwork and contracts are a nightmare, but someone's gotta do it. and it's not like they're just going to be publishing their own games, they're also going to be helping out other indie devs with money and advice, which is so cool. it's like, they're paying it forward, you know? they've been in the industry for over 10 years, and they've had some really successful games, so it's great that they're using their experience to help others.

it's not the first time we've seen something like this, though - there are a few other indie studios that have started their own publishing arms to help out other devs. like, pocketpair started pocketpair publishing last year, and they've had a ton of interest from other indie devs. evil landfall is doing something similar, but they're not quite as hands-on, at least not yet. they're just offering advice and money for now, but who knows, maybe they'll start publishing other games in the future.

i'm really excited to see where evil landfall goes from here, and how they'll be helping out other indie devs. it's always great to see successful studios giving back to the communityRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
