so, happy easter, i guess. it's a pretty cool time to talk about characters coming back from the dead in games, and i'm all about that. i mean, who doesn't love a good resurrection story, right? it's like, the ultimate plot twist.



i was reading this article about the best videogame characters who came back from the dead, and it got me thinking about some of my favorite games. like, have you ever played star wars: knights of the old republic? it's this amazing rpg where you play as a character who's actually a sith lord, but you don't know it at first. it's not until the big reveal that you're like, "whoa, i'm actually the bad guy." it's such a cool twist, and it totally changes the way you play the game. you start to see everything in a new light, and you're like, "oh, that's why the jedi were being so weird to me."



the article also talked about the elder scrolls games, and how everyone just keeps coming back to life. which, let's be real, is kind of hilarious. i mean, you can just go around killing all the npcs, and then they just magically come back to life. it's like, what even is the point of killing them in the first place? but at the same time, it's also kind of cool. i mean, it's not like you have to worry about accidentally killing someone important and ruining the whole game.
