hey guys, so you know how the switch 2 has been killing it in sales? well, it's just hit nearly 20 million units sold, which is pretty wild. i mean, it's no surprise or anything, since it's nintendo's fastest selling console to date, but still, those are some crazy numbers.



so, the latest sales figures just dropped, and the switch 2 has sold 19.86 million units as of march. that's a pretty big jump from the 17.37 million units it had sold by the end of last year. and let's be real, it's not like the console is even a year old yet, so that's some serious momentum. but, despite all this, nintendo has actually lowered its forecast for the upcoming year.



apparently, most of the switch 2's sales were concentrated in its launch year, which isn't super surprising. i mean, who didn't want to get their hands on one of these things as soon as possible? and with the price revisions and all that, it makes sense that sales would slow down a bit. but, even with that in mind, nintendo still thinks it'll sell a solid 16.50 million units in the next year, which is pretty optimistic if you ask me.
