omg, you guys, i just heard that mortal shell 2 has a surprise beta out right now on ps5 and xbox series x/s. i'm super stoked because i've been waiting for this game for ages. apparently, it's been doing really well on steam, with over 500,000 downloads already. that's crazy.



so, the beta is basically the same as the one on steam, with the same features and all that. you get to play the first three hours of the game, which is pretty cool. and if you decide to buy the full game later, you can even skip the prologue section if you've played the beta on the same platform. i think that's a really nice touch, you know? it's like the devs are rewarding you for trying out the game early.



i've also heard that if you play the beta for more than 30 minutes, you'll unlock this exclusive cosmetic reward called the flayed harbinger. i don't know what it looks like, but it sounds pretty cool. i love that kind of stuff, you know, unlocking special rewards just for playing the game. it's like a little bonus for being a dedicated fan.

from what i've read, the game itself is supposed to be pretty amazing. the combat is supposed to be really meaty and satisfying, with these big, deliberate animations that make you feel like you're really fighting for your life. and the game has this whole soulsy vibe going on, with a bonfire-like thing that helps you level up and all that. i'm really into that sort of game, so i'm super excited to try it out.
