so, you guys know i'm super into subnautica 2, and i just found out that the first major update is out. it's called adaptive measures, and i'm pretty stoked about the new features it's bringing to the table. basically, the devs have been listening to feedback from players, and they're trying to find a balance between the non-violent approach of the game and the need for players to be able to defend themselves.

one of the coolest things about this update is that you can now stun certain creatures using the sonic resonator. this is a big deal for me, because i've had my fair share of close calls with those pesky sea monsters. it's not a full-on kill feature or anything, but it's a step in the right direction. the devs are also working on making creature behavior more noticeable, so you can tell when you've hit them with the survival tool. it's all about making the game feel more immersive and responsive.

the update also includes some other pretty cool features, like improvements to the blight creatures and biomods. now, biomod stations are more common, making it easier to switch out abilities on the fly. and, if you've got the right tool, you can scan creatures to unlock more passive biomod slots. this is a total game-changer for me, because i love experimenting with different abilities and playstyles. the wrecks have also been revamped, with new puzzles and a more cohesive visual style.

i'm also loving the quality of life changes in this update, like the new personal storage option for bases and the overhauled pda. the pda is way more user-friendly now, with a better ui and categorization system. and, you can finally listen to audio logs wheneverRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
